if you have 2x16gb sticks, please check the dimm voltage - especially when using xmp!
i have a 2x16gb g.skill trident z kit, and i had to set dimm voltage at 1,33v-1,34v* manually; after that the system is rock stable!
*with 1,35v (as specified within xmp) the system is also stable, but my [email protected] kit gets quite hot. (monitoring dimm voltage in tools like hwinfo shows dimm voltages around 1,404v to 1,416v under load!)
Had to go back to F11 - F12e kept on crashing on me when using XMP1 - did not bother doing things manually - as soon as I downgraded to F11 everything works well.
Things that worked for me : disable xmp use a RAM frequency below your rated spec for example 3133mhz for 3200mhz and then u just use the timings for 3200mhz and lower them till u get the bootloop and make sure u manually set the TRC (the MB will bump it up to ridiculous values by itself) for 3200mhz trc between 55 and 56 works fine...

Very similar setup.
Aorus X570 Elite Bios version: f20 memory: 64gb of Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 4x16 CMW64GX4M4C3200C16 DDR43200
I've tried everything I have read, but memory will only default to 2133. Anything I do in the bios for memory results in 3 beeps and a long awkward post.
These scenarios don't work:
Setting XMP to Profile 1
Setting DRAM voltage to 1.35
Setting memory clock to 32 or 31.33
Any of the above combinations
following suggestions from TheGiant to disable XMP and set ram freq to 31.33, just stock timings of 16-18-18-36, set tRC to 54
The only thing that seems to work is setting everything to optimized. Once in Windows, seems very stabile. I did check the MSL, and saw that my exact memory wasn't in the list and assumed (I know) that since the publish date of the list was 2020/03/02, that it was just outdated. Seriously, Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB is as common as can be.
FYI, I also uninstalled RGB Fusion.
I tried the DRAM Calc for Ryzen and something interesting happened. I followed the "safe" settings in the bios, still with XMP disabled, and then ran the CPU-Z test and all of the timings are what I specified, but the DRAM Freq is still at 1064.5 instead of 1600 (for DDR4 3200). But if change either DRAM multiplier, bad boot.
Help please.

bill3900x, I checked your ram against the QVL and it is not listed for your motherboard/CPU combination. Not saying that the ram can't work, because it does. But may not work for XMP. Ryzen seems to be more sensitive with Corsair ram than with some other manufacturers' ram. G.Skill often works better.

Yeah, I just hoped the Gigabyte list was out of date. I just pulled the trigger on a set of G.Skill sticks, F4-3600C16Q-64GTZNC. Yes, I know, it's not on Gigabyte's QVL, but forums are full of success stories with it. Claims to be specially made for X570 Ryzen 3000 setups. G.Skill lists my motherboard on it's list.
I was really hoping to stick with my Gigabyte/Corsair combo build, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Right?

I agree 100%. Had another member update today who, after months of trying to get the Corsair to work, went with G.Skill and immediately got to XMP no problem. Happy camper.

The G.Skill F4-3600C16Q-64GTZNC worked perfectly right out of the box. Installed it, powered on, opened bios, set XMP and optimal settings, and Windows booted fast and easy. 1796.4MHz in CPU-Z. I'll play around with the Ryzen DRAM Calculator and see what I can do with it, but we're off to a good start. It's a shame the Corsair memory didn't work out. Fortunately I got it on Amazon and the return was super easy.

andreigrum wrote: Feb 18, 2021 8:42:19 GMT -8 Fixed by a Win reinstall to UEFI. Old install was non-UEFI and I guess this was causing the problem. Still since F11 was working this proves there might be an issue with no-UEFI installs on F20 and F30.

I tried all F2x/F3x, same behavior. Even reset btn stops working, so I have to keep Pwr btn pressed 10 sec. Thanks in advance :
