Well I got mine to stick to CSM disabled but I had to change some settings in my monitor. With the newer bios, it somehow helped a bit with this issue.
In my monitor Acer ed242qr (144hz version), I disabled DDC/CI, Auto select and Wide Mode to Aspect (instead of Full Screen). There is not many settings in my monitor. Also have to turn off and on the screen, I usually turn it off and on when inside the bios screen. If my monitor or pc does not have power (power switches to off or power loss), it will most likely re-enable CSM.
I can also make it stick "permanent" if I enabled secure boot but since I have been updating bios often, I have not enable the secure boot option.
I am not sure if there is any signal issues or power issues that are sensitive to the displayport handshaking, which enables CSM again.
I currently have a Sapphire Vega 56 pulse and Club 3D displayport 1.4 cable
Exactly the same problem, with the same reasons of fail but i believe with exact opposite method of pluging. Maybe a misfunction of HDMI port drove me to the DVI ports a few months until now. I discover that it is inable for my Z390 with DUAL OS (UEFI) to return in CSM inable to fix broken booting after fault operation with RAID. In fact i did that mistake in my attempt to setup OSX inviroment, with necessity disamble CSM.

bamainark wrote: Sept 11, 2021 8:18:04 GMT -8 @starfighter......what motherboard/cpu are you using? If it's a later model TPM support will probably be built in. A TPM module itself is a separate option you must purchase yourself. Most motherboards also has a TPM header for this TPM module.
