I have the same issue, and also have ryzen 2700x with gigabyte ab350n gaming 3. I have seen quite a few sites that say if you set windows power settings to balanced it stops it. However it does not seem to take much activity on the cpu to create the edc maxing out again.
please can anybody help me? I´ve done all the steps in the bios section, update FW, update amd chipset drivers... first update to F31... but if I update to any later bios version, F40, F42, F50.... windows just crash with a blue screen of death. I can always make a downgrade from F42 or F50 to my loved F31 and everywith works fine But.. I wan to sell my 2600 and go for an 3700x, another question.. there´s no support for ryzen 3700? only 3700x? I´m very tired about to make tests, upgrading... downgrading... almost with F31 all is fine
And my ram is alwarys well recogniced and working at 3200 with no issues

Hey guys, been away for a very long time. Can anybody recommend me a (2933) 3000 or 3200Mhz 16x2 or 8x2 RAM kit good for this mobo running a Ryzen 7 1700?
I'm running a
Ryzen 7 1700 on my AB350 Gaming 3 still stuck at BIOS F6
because my Ryzen 1700 is overclocked @ 36.00 on all cores and is only stable at this version.
I'm presently running a pair of G.Skill Trident Z F4-3200C16D-16GTZB 8GBx2 3200Mhz at 2933Mhz.
Can't go any higher on the RAM as the overclock becomes unstable or the board would just boot loop.
To people with the same setup, I would like to know what RAM kits are good now, especially with the more modern kits coming out and have come out recently. I would also like to know if there's a BIOS version update needed to make them work with this setup. I can make do with adding 2 sticks of another kit to my Trident Zs (I can't buy the same stuff here anymore, no stocks), or remove the Trident Zs altogether for a new kit. I'm just looking to upgrade to at least 32GB with at least 2933Mhz or 3200Mhz if possible. Somebody please help.
EDIT:
So I just took the risk and bought an 8x2 kit of the more recent G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200C16D GTZR RAM to add to my old 8x2 kit for 32GB total. Obviously, the BIOS and the board didn't like the new kit and wouldn't boot without resetting all the BIOS options and down-clocking all my RAM into 1800~Mhz. Had to deal with a load of testings and settings again until I just happened upon some random post online about a different board with Ryzen 1600 where the user was struggling to upgrade from two sticks of RAM to four with a B350 board. Apparently, that user was able to settle with setting his RAM to 3066.
So I updated my BIOS to F31n just because I didn't want to update back up to F51 (have to go to F31n first), popped by previous working 2-stick CPU and RAM overclocks on the values, then set the RAM frequency to 3066 instead of 2933. Voila! It boots and it stays that way. Didn't even mess with timings and just upped the DRAM voltage to the advertised 1.35v both my RAM kits are rated for.

Probably you won't get 3200Mhz ever, it's not the memory is the 1700, not all can get 3200 in Infinity Fabric speed, my 1700X didn't get more than 2933 or 3000 Mhz stable, I changed it to a 3700X and now I'm getting 3200Mhz without any problem

default bios setup and with fast boot....
Boot times are horrible! I get 30sec or longer with a "-" on the screen... then goes to bios boot selection " del to enter bios, etc..." for another 30sec to min... USB keyboard has power... but is not recognized. After about another min, USB kicks in and I can enter BIOS settings.
Everything boots and runs fine, games run with no issues. But that boot time is killing me. I recently updated to the F51b due to mentioning of boot time issues on several bios's... no luck. F51b seems to make it worse, adding in the "-" screen...

Any ideas anyone? Everything is appreciated!!!
Do you have something more than keyboard and mouse connected to PC?
Any news about possible new BIOS f60 with AMD AGESA V2 1.0.8.1 or AGESA COMBO AM4 V2 1.1.0.0 support for this mobo?
I don't think it's coming, I'd really like an update for SAM/resize BAR support. I might try flashing a 450 BIOS once the final versions are released since someone in the beta thread seems to have succeeded in doing that on a B350 board.

I tried all F2x/F3x, same behavior. Even reset btn stops working, so I have to keep Pwr btn pressed 10 sec. Thanks in advance :
