Am able to run them at 2666 with XMP off. 16-16-16-16-39 1.35 using F5 BIOS. System Is running very smoothly And faster.. am satisfied. Hope F6 will bring 2933 support at same timings
anyone managed to get Wake On LAN working on this board (preferably from S5 power state)? I can't seems to find any option in BIOS (F4) concerning power states and consequently when I shutdown my PC the onboard LAN get no power at all (stops blinking). If there are really no power state options in current BIOS, will it ever get it with updates?
Reviewer is able to enable XMP profile and reach correct ram speeds.
Wonder which bios version is he using.
Anyone managed to get xmp working with this board?
Did you enable wake on lan in Windows itself? You have to go to network adapter settings and make sure it's also enabled there.
As fo XMP, not sure why people keep posting about it over and over again, it currently doesn't work. Set memory voltage, timings and multiplier manually and it should boot if your memory is capable.
For me, was able to get my 2800 MHz RAM working at 2666 with F6d bios. I set multiplier to 26, voltage to 1.35, and timings to 16-18-18-36 with XMP off. I have dual rank men chips to boot.
Any idea when the BIOS with the fixed FMA3 errata will be released?
The F6D that I found it on a Chinese FTP cause corruption in whole system compilation (Linux Gentoo) and I god to revert to F5 and recompile everything.
This board is very disappointing, I'm having issues with it, BIG TIME right now. I don't understand what the issue is with the memory but I'm on my second board right now and I keep running into this boot loop problem. I can't even get it to POST. I set the XMP profile of my memory, from corsair and this is what happens. I actually originally had EVGA memory from Microcenter and ending up spending more money and buying and the problem still persists on both motherboards. Is this ever going to be fixed???
It's funny because I actually was using this board since release and the problem started to rear its head in just recently.
Funny I actually solved my own issue right after posting my last post. Seems to be an issue with the motherboard and having an M.2 drive installed when trying to post when ram speed setting aren't working. With it installed I got locked into a boot loop and couldn't even access the bios. I removed my M.2 drive and it my motherboard was able to post. This really needs to be fixed. I'm going to try bios F6D again on THIS board.
Can anyone from Gigabyte let us know what kind of fixes can we except from next bios update? I'm getting kind of tired of messing around with this board, trying to find stable settings, especially for RAM.
Now with BIOS F5 I'm getting ramdom boots (computer shuts down suddenly but leaves motherboard and PC case lights on, I have to unplug cable or switch during 4 or more seconds, after reboot all fans start at full speed indicating some temperature problem) and ramdom lag and stuttering when playing Battlefield 1 and any game that streess CPU a lot (game it's unplayable during almost 30 seconds and then gets back to a seminormal state, little stuttering and lagginess from time to time, and CPU temperature raises suddenly 10 degrees to about 70 Celsius, then revert back to 60 degreess and again happens if a ramdom boot does not happen first).
AUTO settings for RAM and is set to 2133Mhz (my RAM is G.Skill Trident Z capable of 3200 Mhz and 14 CAS but in AUTO setting in BIOS revert to 2133Mhz)
Graphics card is a Sapphire Radeon RX 480 8GB OC
Muy CPU is a Ryzen 1700X
No overclock, everything is set to AUTO and loaded optimiced defaults.
Please could anybody from Gigabyte give feedback on this?

Hello guys. I have a problem with my RAMs on my AB350 Gaming 3.
I can manage to boot with XMP profile (3200mhz - Cas16 - 1,350v), but unfortunately they are not stable). So i'm trying to set them at 2933mhz or 2667mhz but this won't work. RAMs will be set at 2133mhz default and nothing more, even changing manually the multiplier. Weird.
They go over 2133mhz just when i activate XMP profile. My BIOS is F5, CPU 1700X and the ram is Corsair Vengeance LED CMU16GX4M2C3200C16.
I'm able to use my 3200 RAM (G.SKILL TridentZ optimized for Intel, CL16) without any issue :
DO NOT USE THE XMP PROFILE (Except if you want to be stuck in a reboot loop for 3 hours trying to resurrect the board.
What I did (after reviving the board): * Manually set the timing for both channel, mine say 16-18-18-38 on the box so I did put 16-18-18-18-38 (a 18 for the missing one) * Add 0.0025V to the CPU and about the same for SOC * My RAM was rated for 1.35V but it have good heatsink so I did put 1.40v
No problem what so ever. - Without increasing ram voltage, no boot - Without increasing cpu voltages, it randomly blackscreen and reboot.
Ok so I was able to my Corsair LED Kit (same kit as the person two posts before) and I'm only able to 2667mhz 16-18-18-18-36 out of it and not the 3200mhz speed it was tested to work at. Even upping the SOC voltage to 1.4v (DIMM) and SOC voltage up to +0.196 wouldn't help it boot at 3200mhz.
I hope there's a fixing coming very soon because there is definitely a bump in gaming performance with the memory being faster. I had it boot at 2933MHz once and gained a few more FPS in every game I tested but it wasn't stable and computer locked up (at least at stock voltages). There is definitely more performance to be had at the 3200Mhz speed and I would very much like to have that, I mean that's what I bought it for lol.

andreigrum wrote: Feb 18, 2021 8:42:19 GMT -8 Fixed by a Win reinstall to UEFI. Old install was non-UEFI and I guess this was causing the problem. Still since F11 was working this proves there might be an issue with no-UEFI installs on F20 and F30.

I tried all F2x/F3x, same behavior. Even reset btn stops working, so I have to keep Pwr btn pressed 10 sec. Thanks in advance :
