also the board sometimes "bricks". All leds are off, button presses have no effect. At this point you have to take the bios battery out for 30s, remove the ram sticks, put everything back in and then it boots. This also happens when the system is turned off for multiple hours.
Also there seems to be a cold boot bug, where after being off for multiple hours, it can not load windows. Resetting the system multiple times will eventually get it to boot and load windows correctly.

I cannot get the AORUS AX370-Gaming K7 to post with the Kingston HyperX Predator 3200 single rank RAM (HX432C16PB3K4/32) which is in the QVL. If I try a single stick I get 3 short beeps as soon as I power on (indicating a memory parity error) no matter which slot I use and an endless reboot/beep loop. With two sticks I don't get any beeps, but just the endless reboot loop.
I had some other ram so I was able to try the F3b bios but it does the same thing as with the F2 bios. For now I'm just using some double rank 2666 RAM (HX426C15FBK4/32) with the F2 bios so I can actually use the board.
Any idea on when the 3200 ram from the QVL will actually work in this board? I bought that ram specifically because it is in the QVL and I was hoping to eventually be able to OC it to the actual speed of the ram.

I had the same issue after putting my PC to sleep. Tried to wake it today and the system was completely dead, no lights on the motherboard. I removed the battery and shorted across the battery terminals. It booted right up after that. (F2 bios)

That's nuckin futz!
I'm using RAM that's not on the QVL. I'm using G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-32GTZ. Knowing others are having issues with RAM on the QVL makes me glad I did not try returning this RAM at a loss. Unfortunately, I'm only running it at 2133MHz. It doesn't matter what I do, I have to hit the jumper every time if I mess with the RAM settings.
I have been able to run more than 1.4v to the CPU (shows differently in CPU-Z/Hardware Monitor/Gigabyte EZ Tune app) but I was able to get a few different settings to work and a few different clock ranges.
My only issue is I don't know if my temp readings are +20*C more than they're supposed to be (because of the X) or if I'm actually getting the correct CPU temps, so I'm backing off on the overclocking until then. The highest temps I've seen is 81*C at just a hair over 4GHz across all cores, and idle temps of 56*C.
XMP Disabled DRAM voltage set to 1.4V SOC voltage set to 1.10V
I haven't pushed any further yet. I'm waiting for a new bios release before I try to push higher. Nice and stable with this memory setting.
Nice work!
I ordered this Kit today. Its not in the QVL but if it works fine for you, so i have a good feeling about it. Do you tried to boot with XMP 3600 Profile?

1,4V is a little bit to hight, i guess.
Could you please show us your BIOS settings?
Best regards, Moe
Thanks Moe
I initially tried booting with the XMP profile but the board freaked out and cycled on and off several times.
From what I've read about Samsung B-die memory, they handle voltage quite well (I've read discussions where guys were running them at voltages as high as 1.8-1.9 volts) My ram temps are low thanks to the big Noctuca NH-U14S right next to them.
Settings: XMP disabled System Memory Multiplier - Set at 32 DRAM Voltage - manually enter 1.40V (you could try a lower voltage like 1.35V) Memory Timing Mode - Set to Advanced Manual Channel A/B Memory Sub Timings- Set both A and B to 14-14-14-34
Next go to the Advanced Voltage Settings section. Set VCORE SOC to 1.10V (maximum recommended is 1.20V)

Yeah the G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-32GTZ is dual rank Samsung E-die ram. You could try disabling XMP and manually entering the speed, timings, and voltage. There are several guys running 2x16GB kits at 2666 MHz or 2400 MHz. Loosening timings and increasing DRAM and SOC voltage will help.
The most compatible memory seems to be single rank Samsung B-die (3200 MHz 14-14-14-34). There may be improvements after new bios releases incorporate the recently released AGESA code from AMD. Might take a month or two at the rate GB is releasing bios updates...

Yeah... I decided to give up on waiting for an updated bios to fix the Kingston ram I had from the QVL and just got some G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GTZ ram instead.
The G.Skill ram initially posts without issue but only at 2133. However I was able to set the speed manually to get it to run at 2400 without problems. Enabling XMP would cause the MB to boot-loop/no-post and would eventually reset bios on its own so I'll probably play around with manual settings later and hope to get something closer to 3200.
Thanks to everyone for posting their success with G.Skill!

I have been playing around with the clocking settings. I was expecting more options, but simple is good.
With the 1800X I have, I can reach 4.1GHz stably, but the voltage has to be around 1.525v or higher. End result, I am running at 4.05GHz right now at 1.40625v (or there abouts), which is stable under CPU benchmark loads. I have tried playing with B.CLK, but the GV-R939X-G1 Gaming video card seems a little picky with B.CLKs higher than 101 MHz. And even with proper compensations, the GPU is unstable trying to run at 112.5 MHz BCLK so my RAM can run at 3600 MHz.
I feel there will be a few months of BIOS fixes and tweaks in the coming months. I wonder if AMD can release a code that can unlock higher RAM clock modifiers than 32x.
The RAM I got is G.Skill TridentZ 3600MHz CAS15. With it stuck at 3200MHz, I lowered the latency setings for 14-14-14-34, but I could set it to 13-13-13-33 if I knew it wasn't running at 14-13-13-33, which is what CPU-Z reports.
Although at this moment, I have the CPU set to 100MHz B.CLK and 40.5 multiplier, but CPU-Z reports 37x multiplier instead.
Another experience, the BIOS got flashed to the backup BIOS, not the main BIOS. I will have to correct this later, I guess.
