Hey, just bought a G5 (to go after a K3 with which everything was working except OC), plugged everything in there (ram Corsair led vengeance 3200mhz, gtx 1060, and Ryzen 1700x).
And ... i have no screen, no answer from the MB (can't turn it off by pushing the power button) but everything is powered (led on everything, GPU, ram, MB). I tried to CMOS clear, didn't do anything.
I tried to change ram from port, or with one stick, same thing.
I tried to move GPU from PCI socket, same.
Is it because my ram is at 3200mhz ? It should work to boot ?
@alexandrepa1 are you using a DisplayPort to connect to the 1060? Try the right most port and see if you have anything on display. Also, can you see the codes light up on the motherboard as it boots?

you can only change it, if soc voltage is not set to auto.
replace auto with normal (type N and hit enter)
nice, okay, Im going to try that. I got my ram to boot with xmp enabled now after a reseat, but I have to knock the ram down to 2933, 3200 crashes, so Im doing to try a manual setting suggestion from the beta bios thread.

Hey, I'm building my system and I'm wondering how you got 3200mhz to work. I haven't put anything together yet but I see people are having a problem with getting the memo to run at that speed. (I also have a 1070) so if you could tell me which bios you have and how you got your system to not crash at 3200mhz. And if there's anything else I need to know I'd appreciate it, fist time build.

Just curious. I'm running 2x 16gb gskill ripjaws cas14 3200mhz b-die. Have you guys had any luck getting it to 3200mhz? Can get to 3000mhz (aka 2999) myself only with it. If so, what settings you got going for it?

Multiplier 32 XMP set to Disabled Timings 16-18-18-18-36 Geardown Mode Disabled Bankswap Disabled Command Rate 1T DRAM Voltage 1.43v CLDO_VDDP 880 Proc_ODT 53.3ohm
Other Notes: XMP Profile 1 setting has worked for me though only at stock cpu settings, with an over clock I got BSOD instantly. Overclock settings are:

works well. only problem i encountered is that one of the pins on the usb3 header was bent, meaning 1 of my front usb ports didnt work. luckily, the other one was fine.

I just installed this board, coming from an Asrock X370. Any word about pstate OC, perhaps? Even though the difference may be small, I really liked this feature.

Hi guy i'm on F6 and came across something I feel is odd under Smart hub 5. I have a very custom build which is very clean looking with few cables visible, this requires me to use all 3 fan headers on the lower edge of the board and the Temp 2 socket. So right now my config is this:
System 3 - 3x EK Varder via a powered PWM hub
System 4 - 3x Thermaltake Riing 12 fans via a non powered hub.
Pump Header 6 - EK DDC PWM pump
I'm using a temperature probe plugged into the Temp 2 port to control all PWM speeds, EXCEPT system 3 - and this is the issue - for some reason on system 3 I am unable to monitor EC TEMP 2, all other options (I think) are there, other than EC 2. Now am I missing a simple setting here, or is this something missing from the bios (bios update could/should fix) or a hardware limitation that I can't see?

Ok feedback on the new F7 bios:
Same system:
Ryzen 1700 Gaming 5 16gb Trident Z RGB (Hynix) 3200mhz
Ram seems to be the same as before, aka I can run 3200mhz but have to use 1.4v and loosen TRC from 56 to 62, all other settings are normal at 16-18-18-18-56(62)-1t.
However, seems my chip overclocks much like it did on like the initial bios I had back in March, in that I can run 4ghz at 1.36V - previous bios's since I have need over 1.4v, so thumbs up there I guess !
