Well, temptation rears its head and I was unable to resist the siren call of these beta bioses after all.
This is a cut & paste I wrote in another thread about the results:
"Right now, I'd stay away from any of the 5xx bioses for the x570 Aorus Master. I've come back to F4 from trying both F5g ( www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-MASTER-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios ) and F5f ( forum.gigabyte.us/thread/7098/x570-beta-bios-thread ). Both of the 5xx versions I tried had the same bug--neither allowed me to access the bios settings--I was completely locked out--any attempt to use the DEL key as normal resulted in the computer simply becoming unresponsive after the DEL key was pressed for bios entry. Q-Flash--same thing--locked out. No signal to the monitor, but the keyboard was functioning, as when I keyed in CTRL-ALT-DEL the system would reboot normally! Here's the odd thing, however: both 5xx bioses would boot into Windows automatically provided *I touched nothing on the keyboard* and simply gave it several seconds--then suddenly the monitor got signal and--bam--there I was at my Win10x64, v1903, build 18362.1000 log-in lock screen! I did this repeatedly. OK, F5g has been released to the main US Gigabyte site, www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-MASTER-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios , but it has exactly the same problem as the beta F5f! Same behavior exactly on my brand-new Aorus Master x570! I reset CMOS after each install of the 5xx bios versions--made no difference at all."
So...I'm back to F4 on both main and backup. Here's is something else that's weird. Under F3 & F4, several of the app center applications, like SIV, for instance, refuse to run! All SIV does is display a message that "Easy Tune is re-starting..." at which point the software goes into a loop and does not run--have to Task-Manager it closed to get out of it. *But*---under the F5x bioses, after I got into Windows, SIV worked perfectly(no erroneous Easy Tune message or loop)..! And so did @bios--which is how I got back to F4, with the "flash from file" option. So it's obvious that the bugs that prevent some of the app center applications from working properly are in the bios version itself--F3 & F4--but these bugs are fixed in F5x--but the larger bugs that lock me out of the bios entirely have been created.
Anyone have any suggestions as to the bios-entry problems with the officially released f5g bios version? I'm all ears...
Thanks to the guest who chimed in in this thread about what 5fg was doing with the Crossfire PCIe slots--I solved the problem. That's all it was--I removed the second card--have a new one coming Thursday anyway replacing my venerable 590/480 X-fire setup--and, viola--I can now get into the bios because F5g is at least intelligent enough to properly configure a single GPU... Thanks again, who ever you are, for the tip. I would have found this out later--maybe--but it's so much better knowing what it is! As Clouseau would say, "Problem solv-ed!"

such a teensy, insubstantial complaint in comparison to most here, but if I don't mention it, it definitely won't get fixed, so...….
Using bios f5g on x570 aorus master, the "initialize GPU" setting seems to be functioning backward?
I have a pair of vega 64s installed.
When I select PCIe slot 1, the bios displays on the card in PCIe slot 2.
When I select PCIe slot 2, the bios displays on the card in PCIe slot 1.
The main issue here is this: Windows & Radeon drivers always use the PCIe slot 1 card if crossfire is enabled, so I need to use the slot 1 card for my monitor. Unfortunately, after I reset bios (which I'm fiddling with overclocking quite a bit so happens a lot ) - the bios always defaults to the "slot 1" setting (displaying on the card in slot 2). Meaning I have to change the monitor connection to the other card to get into bios, change the setting to slot 2, then reboot to get the bios displaying on slot 1 again.
With the bios that shipped with the board (F3 I think?) this setting worked OK.
Yes, I know, absolutely minimal importance issue even for those impacted, which are going to be like 7 of us lol. I agree. But still calling it out.
Side note... In general I love the new UI layout. Only 2 nitpicks I'd call out for room for improvement: -Still several things that can be configured in 2 different places. Removing redundancies would be nice. -Can't set any of the "accept/deny" protected entries as favorites. I get why, same reason you have to accept to get into the menu. But since I'd have to accept in order to get into the menu to set it as a favorite, couldn't that count?

Any ETA on when we might be getting a beta bios that would address the Destiny 2 issues? Bungie tweeted here that the fix has been distributed by AMD to partners but would love to know how long we might be waiting. Appreciate it!

Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions but I'm running the x570 Aorus Master on F5F without any of the issues you are experiencing so it doesn't appear to be happening to all MB with that bios.
To anyone else curious about the Destiny 2 fix found an update by an official Gigabtye account on reddit here. Looks like next Monday or Tuesday is the current eta.

Thanks for the reply....Now I wonder if the fact that I have CSM disabled and secure boot on--when the bios defaults to CSM off for legacy boot--might be a problem for 5fg...? I can't see how, since when I flashed to F4 from F3, I had CSM disabled with secure boot on and it made no difference at all--F3/F4 install without a problem! ---grasping at straws trying to figure this out...Really want to install F5g.
Problem fixed--see my post above if interested! Everyone on the F5x bioses who has a Xfire/SLI setup would be affected by this bug.

Thanks defiance Guest--your tip about Crossfire allowed me to solve the problem above. F5g was simply trying to initialize the 2nd Crossfire card--which of course isn't connected to a monitor! No wonder I couldn't get in--it let me boot into windows as Windows automatically switched them out... You saved me a lot of time--this is something they need to know for the next version!

I know you said on reddit that there are issues with the new 1003aba updates from AMD, but could we maybe get a beta with that fix in place for those that don't mind minor issues. Unless of course the issues are too bad that we wouldn't be able to use our systems at all.

x570 aorus elite owner here, got it today. Updated bios to the only new one available on the board's site (other than the one it comes with) and it bricked my board.
That was when I had the very fun realization that it does NOT have dual bios.
What the actual crap?? Why would that not be included in a $200+ last gen board?? I have to use bios flashback now, which requires me to take off the cooler and CPU before it can work.
It's been a few days since we have heard anything about new Beta BIOS coming out. I have a X570 Aorus Master board and 3900x chip with a 5700xt GPU in a brand new build that won't resume from sleep - won't resume from hibernate. Are there any planned BIOS fixes for any of these issues coming? I have tried 500 ways from Sunday to carefully change individual settings involving voltage and sleep states etc and even Windows settings. I am having these issues with everything set to auto and normal on the board on multiple fresh Win 10 1903 installs. Just curious if there is a fix in the works, I would be glad to test it for you and report results.
I know these things are new, so I am not frustrated - just curious if you'd be interested in more information about this particular issue.

does anyone have the bitspower or EK monoblock for this motherboard? Is it worth the money?

I moved that drive to another computer and copied over all data I wanted to keep and did a clean install.

Even if I upgrade, I wouldn't buy a Gigabyte board. Me and all my close friends will never buy Gig again.
