So over the Last year or so i have managed to end up with quite a lot of gigabyte and aorus parts. I thought I could start doing some mini reviews of these parts since I use most of them on a daily basis. I wont go into any great detail since most of that gets handled in the proper tech channels. But if you are looking for honest user experiences on anything that I might have or may be able to aquire, just let me know here. Unless I win the lottery I wont be able to do anything with any high end parts since they are out of my price range, but maybe I will upgrade some of my parts soon when stuff like Navi launches. Either way I will try and be completely honest about anything I review. I work with gigabyte on the forums but at this point I don't work for them so If there is something I love about a part I will say it, but if there is something I hate I will point that out as well. Throw anything questions my way if there is something you want to see me do during my tests and I will do my best to try and include them and give the suggestor a mention. Examples of things you can suggest would be overclocking, various ram compatibility and overclocking of the other ram. I have samsung 3200mzh bdie, samsung 4000mhz edie, hynix mfr, and micron ram that I can test on any of the boards. I have an rx580, and an rx480 flashed to a 580 so I could play with crossfire, and if old school hardware comparisons is more your style, I have a i7 2600 (non k) in a gigabyte h61m-ds2h, and an old pentium 4 that still works, 2 gtx 470's that I could run in sli, and a core 2 quad running in a gimped msi motherboard after my main board died several years ago.
my Parts that I currently have that I plan to write something up about include
Aorus x470 gaming 7 wifi
Aorus RGB ddr4
aorus M.2 RGB nvme drive 256gb
Aorus k7 keyboard
Gigabyte xm300 mouse
Gigabyte RX 580 8gb
Aorus amp300 gaming mouse pad.
I have a few gigabyte 240gb ssd's
Gigabyte xh300 gaming headset
I also have some older stuff like a z170 gaming 7 with a 6600k
and a z170N gaming 5 itx board with a pentium.
I also have an asrock b450 board with a ryzen 2600 that I could do a write up about if anyone is interested. I know its not gigabyte, but it could show you the difference between the boards and what I like about one vs the other.
Perhaps if I can get some good response to the writeups and approval from the higher ups I may do a giveaway with some of the things that I ended up with more than one of like the mousepad or one of the ssd's. If it does happen, it would be shipping to continental US only unless the winner will pay for shipping out of the country. Again their could be some rules about giveaways that I dont know about that could change that.
