ok don't listen to oculus rift forms. you willn't find a dev on there for a good reasons. all 2080 with less then 11g of ram can't use more then one HDMI at once. the HDMI are only one HDMI in the end. so you can't have multiple video drivers working at once. the only solution is to buy a adapter for usb 3.1. its around $60. oculus will lie, cheat and steal in order to sell outdated cables. cables If you try to replace are $200. they made a deal with NVidia for type c only for vr. that's why NVidia didn't engineer the HDMI to work with vr. so expect to pay another 60+ dollars on cable converters. they'll still post the 2080 is compatible with oculus. legally they can get away with it because you can buy a adapter. a jury would find them guilty of bait and switch but not a judge in general.. oculus rift is not vr ready. other parts are required.
