falkentyne,

MCE was set to auto with BIOS F8e so I disabled it. All cores still bounce between 4.6 to 4.9 at idle. In short, it doesn't seen to make much of a difference with this BIOS level. I might flash F8g again and see what happens. Auto is supposed to allow Intel to set the voltage as the freq. goes up.

I haven't. I know it fixes uncore ratio not being reset to 43 when you change from a custom value back to auto, and adds an AGP aperture setting for the iGPU. MCE "Auto" seems to act differently than disabled now with regards to per-core overclocking ratios.

schrotty Have you had a chance to flash F6D? I also found this version on another forum. I'm wondering if this version finally contains Thunderbolt fix developed by Gigabyte team recently.

Yes i have flashed but dont use Thunderbold. I dont know what is changed. I wait for RGB Fusion Support for this High End Board. I dont understand why Gigabyte have not make support for RGB Fusion.

What options do you see in the BIOS menu when you navigate to the Thunderbolt menu and its submenus with F6d? Could you please list them here?

Has the person who provided the beta BIOS told you anything about F6d release notes? If not, could you ask them what F6d promises to fix/add to the current Firmware F6c?

stephen I already updated to F6d. Thunderbolt settings are all the same as in F6c and previous versions. No changes on this.
Also, in Q-Flash I noticed that F6d release date is January 18. So, it was built before they made Thunderbolt fix in their lab.

Just got an Aorus x570S Elite Ax Rev 1.1, when I turn it on you can hear the fans ramp up for a few seconds then 4 quick beeps followed by 3 more, nothing on screen. Saw some info saying 4 beeps is memory error, replaced the memory with same results,ideas?

vermillionkingpin Can you be more specific? You cant have Secure boot with CSM enabled. You must have a GPT format drive before disabling CSM. People have bricked their m/b changing secure boot settings the wrong way. Change things one step at a time!

abasssaial, Last time I had a c1 error on my Z690 it was a memory issue. Make sure that your RAM is on the Gigabyte's QVL. I used Q Flash Plus to flash the BIOS and that fixed the issue for me.
