I have a 1600X. Probably could've gone with a 1600, I know, but this way I got a higher base clock, and the price difference is only $30, and I already had a decent HSF (TT Contac Silent 12, although I may upgrade that).
The K5, as we all know, only has voltage offset in the BIOS. What's the best tool for measuring voltage and temp? With Prime95 and the CPU OC to 3.8 to start, Ryzen Master, Aorus CPU-Z, and HWInfo64 all show slightly different voltages and temps. Ryzen Master said something like 1.418V and around 79C, whereas CPU-Z says 1.38/1.39V, and HWInfo had slightly lower voltages and temps. (And SIV had even lower temps, in the mid-60s, so I am assuming that was measuring a different sensor.)
I've begun testing slight undervolts. Short Prime95 runs look good, although I haven't yet had the time for longer ones. I'd like the most accurate tool for measuring temps and voltages, though.
