Please note: Only BIOS listed on gigabyte's main support page are official tested BIOS. Any bios ending in a letter is a tested and approved Beta Bios. These Beta BIOS are released by Gigabyte but could still have some issues. Final BIOS will lack the Letter. Example F50a would be beta, F50 would be final.

I am going to link to every boards bios page. Most of the old links are dead and I will edit this page as when I have time.

I have been asked to compile a list of memory on the QVL list that people are having difficulty getting working at the rated speed. I think a google doc is the best solution, but if you guys have other ideas how to compile the list I am all ears!

Here is a link to the sheet. Please mark down any memory on the QVL list that works, doesn't work, your forum name, and the BIOS version you tested. If you don't have or want to include your forum name that's OK. Its just a reference for me in case I need to ask for more info.

So as some of you have noticed the AM4 beta bios thread is gone. Accidents happen, and Unfortunately I dont see any way on proboards to recover it. Maybe the admins can do something about it. Luckily for us the internet is awesome and it was not all lost thanks to the wayback machine. So here I am going to post Matts original post with the links to the downloads. The last save on wayback was from about a month ago, so hopefully these are still the latests bios available. I would have pulled the links from my own browser cache, but I wiped my computer the other day and I dont have anything showing up for that thread. These bios files are now out of date, and the official bios files supersede them.

PLEASE CHECK THE LINK IS FOR YOUR BOARD. I THINK I HAVE ALL THE LINKS CORRECT BUT PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK!

What the difference between "T" and "F" BIOS? Which should I use?
"T" BIOS are test versions. They include tweaks our R&D team are experimenting with. They are likely less stable and may contain features/settings that never make it to a final version. Only use if you are comfortable adjusting advanced BIOS settings.
"F" BIOS are beta versions. They include the latest fixes & AGESA code. They should be more stable than "T" versions. Use this if you want to test the latest AGESA code.

TL;DR: "T" are alpha releases. "F" are beta.

***FAQ***

Question: My BIOS is borked, how do I flash it?

First make sure your board is set to single BIOS mode.
Boot off the good BIOS (a)
Once in the BIOS flip the switch to the bad BIOS (b)
Use Qflash to flash the bad BIOS. After it completed the board may power cycle 3-5 times. This is normal. Give it about 2 minutes and it should boot.

Question: Using XMP my SOC voltage is set to 1.25! Is this normal/safe?
Answer: Yes, 1.25 should be safe. We increased the default AUTO voltage for stability on certain DIMMS since it seems most users have to set at least 1.2.

Question: XMP still isn't working!
Try setting SOC to 1.2 or 1.25
Try setting the timings, voltage (you may need to try 1.4), and SOC (1.2~1.25) manually.

Question: Ugg my AB350-Gaming 3 STILL won't load XMP.
Does you memory have multiple XMP profiles? Try the lower one first!
Raise Dynamic SOC to +.3V, try to boot.

Question: Tried all that, now what?
Answer: These are BETA BIOS with a new microcode to integrate... Stay patient - We're working on it!

Question: My board doesn't have a BETA BIOS! Why are you guys ignoring my board!!!
Answer: We are working on updates for all the boards. In general K7/5/Gaming 3 will recieve the first batch of BETA BIOS. Why? Because they are the more complex version of the board(s). Rest assured K5/Gaming will follow shortly after.

The Bios versions for the B350M gaming are older than the release version F5 so i dont think anyone should use them without having a very good reason todo so.

And im guessing here but that may be the case for all the beta bios versions. I do think that most if not all release version are the newest bios versions avaiable at this moment in time.

So anyone who didnt used one of these before should just stick to the normal versions till theres a new official thread for newer ones.

Its a good thing that its back for other information it may contain i just wanted to point that out for anyone who stumples upon this and thinks he gets the latest and greatest here.

thanks for the info. Like I said i dont have any cache from the am4 thread to check them out. I just wanted to put this out there. I know some people were still running some of the older bios because they were more stable for them, or allowed higher overclocks on the ram than the officials.

To be fair, although there was a good deal of useful info in the original thread, it was getting a bit long and difficult to find applicable info in as well. Would it be possible in the future to perhaps get new threads for different iterations of beta BIOS? Perhaps maybe even by motherboard model? I'm not sure what the best way to break it up would be, but finding information relevant to your particular board in a 250-page long thread with around 10 board models never seemed very efficient or sustainable.

As was mensioned in previouse thread by GIGABYTE - Matt , current status looks like this (as i remember)

Top wishlist:

1) p-state overclocking
2) vga boot priority

Top issues:

1) softbrick
2) problems with some creative cards
3) and ofcause memory overclocking

My system info:

Running R5 1600x @ stock speed on ax370 gaming k7 with F4 bios.
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB (F4-3200C14D-32GVK, 2x16gb, samsung b-die, 2rank) @ 3200MHz (xmp1 profile enabled)

Stability:

Memory: See no issues.
Virtualization: Finally (after F4E) i was able to passthrough my radeon rx 460 to windows guest without hanging host itself (but currently guest windows reloads after loading drivers for graphic card).
Problems: Have random, unconditional hangups (not often). There was proposition in previose thread that this behavior is only exists when SVM (virtualization support) is enabled.

Just an FYI the deletion of the original BETA BIOS thread was a mistake. Trust me when I say I put a lot of time and effort into that thread... I'm actually pretty upset its gone. So no conspiracy here, just a very unfortunate mistake

Since the orginal thread had been deleted I thought to bring back this snippet from saunderz. It allowed me to boot into these settings, but alas a game like Overwatch still crashed. -Brent

Just got an Aorus x570S Elite Ax Rev 1.1, when I turn it on you can hear the fans ramp up for a few seconds then 4 quick beeps followed by 3 more, nothing on screen. Saw some info saying 4 beeps is memory error, replaced the memory with same results,ideas?

vermillionkingpin Can you be more specific? You cant have Secure boot with CSM enabled. You must have a GPT format drive before disabling CSM. People have bricked their m/b changing secure boot settings the wrong way. Change things one step at a time!

abasssaial, Last time I had a c1 error on my Z690 it was a memory issue. Make sure that your RAM is on the Gigabyte's QVL. I used Q Flash Plus to flash the BIOS and that fixed the issue for me.
