After shutdown my X470 and 5600X doesn't boot up instantly and BIOS settings are reset. System time 00:00:00. Then I load the profile and everything works as normal. Even restart is ok...just cold start after shutdown having some problems.Anyone else with that problem with F60C?
Same. I've dialed in my RAM - had to pull back from my 2600x and F51 figures, unfortunately. Here I thought my video card was the issue but you made me rethink that. If I shut down or the PC goes to sleep and it forces me to have to reset CMOS and load my profile up again. Stable while working but needing to go through that process every time I want to use the PC is going to get old.

I think I found what is the issue with cold boot problem in my CPU+MB+RAM+BIOS combo.
I have FlareX 3200CL14 (b-die).
When I set XMP profile or even do anything manually with RAM timings it goes to cold boot problem.
If I just set multiplier for RAM on 38, RAM voltage to 1,37V and FCLK to 1900Mhz every other timings on auto (they sux BTW), there is no more problems.
I think I will try with setting memory timings in advanced AMD overclocking section instead of simple one, but this F60C BIOS with 5600x doesn't like to mess with timings in there I guess...it was working fine with R5 2600 on the same bios version and same timings
Also I tried PBO +200Mhz setting and 5600X happily boosts single core on 4850Mhz with core voltage spikes to 1.45V.
So I think BIOS still needs some work, but I am happy not waiting for 3 months to get proper CPU support. I can live with that for now.
Bought the Ryzen 5600x yesterday and flashed my motherboard with the latest F60c BIOS. It worked perfectly and I have run benchmarks and games without any issues.
Care to share benchmarks? I have the same mobo and R5 5600X is giving worst results than my old R5 2600X w/ 3600Mhz RAMs. I'm barely getting 900 points on Cinebench R20 and ~2200 on Passmark.

all cors at CB20 multicore test are fixed around 4.550 Mhz, voltage around 1.35V and temps around 72 degrees Celsius ... monitoring with Hwinfo64
CPU passmark - CPU Single Threaded (boosting one core to 4850Mhz) - score 3231, what I found little to low comparing similar CPU score on X570 boards. But my RAM is for now (because of cold boot problem) on 3800Mhz with awful timings on auto (26,26,26,58,87).
I'd say it's more stable with memory OC as compared to F51 (there was something wrong with IF there), but not sure if it's better than F50 in terms of stability (at least on x470 gaming 7).

Why do yo usay that? Did you test have numbers? Or is it just a feeling?
Come on Giga, give us 300 series owners at least Smart Access on a last final and polished BIOS. My X370 K7 deserves a glorious end of cycle. Thanks in advance.

andreigrum wrote: Feb 18, 2021 8:42:19 GMT -8 Fixed by a Win reinstall to UEFI. Old install was non-UEFI and I guess this was causing the problem. Still since F11 was working this proves there might be an issue with no-UEFI installs on F20 and F30.

I tried all F2x/F3x, same behavior. Even reset btn stops working, so I have to keep Pwr btn pressed 10 sec. Thanks in advance :
