Hello;

I am hoping the forums might be the help i am looking for! I have Gigabyte AX370 Gaming K7 with bios F4 and i am trying to do a RAID 0 through the bios with two Samsung 850 EVO 250Gb SSD. It shows up in the bios just fine but while in windows it does not appear in explorer or in disk management. The raid controller does show up in device manager and i have it updated to the latest version from the Gigabyte website, however the raid drive or ssds used in the raid do not show up. When using HWinfo64 it can see there is a raid 0 with both ssds but it says the raid 0 is offline even though both ssds show they are working fine in the sensors tab. I have tried rebuilding the raid in bios many times and refreshing the drivers. Please help me and i hope no one else has this problem. Thank you!

Check for an online status in Disk management.

If you are running the Windows anniversary update then there are known RAID problems (reported about a year ago). I can't say if the latest updates have corrected the issues although I am running RAID 0. The other possibility is the NVIDIA chipset and RAID drivers need to be updated and/or reinstalled.

I have an h470 hd3 that I recently installed and I'm trying to update my bios from the f2 version. I'm only concerned as to which version to update to. I see that the latest bios update for this model has a warning that confuses me about whether its right.

Hey all, got a X370 Gaming 5 with Ryzen 7 1700. My RAM (4 x G.Skill Trident 3200 with Samsung chips) are only working at 1866 MHz. Cant activate XMP 2.0, because mobo resets the timings to standard, if i do.

Plan was to configure the two SSDs, in RAID 1, as the new “C” drive.
