For no apparent reason, it now takes nearly 90 seconds for F12 bios to post despite no changes in BIOS settings. I have...

Disconnected all peripherals
Passed Windows 10 Memory Diagnostic
Found no errors in Windows System Diagnostic or Device Manager
Run Windows Optimize Drive
Re-flashed F12 BIOS

...and yet the issue remains.

No new hardware has been added.
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X
5 hard drives, all healthy
64gb RAM
2xNvidia GeForce 1080 GPUs, 3 screens

I may be overly concerned since the system is otherwise operating normally, though an explanation or a fix could put my mind at ease. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'll answer my own question. Maybe my discovery might help someone else with a slow posting issue.

My DVD R/W drive died a quiet death without even telling me it was ill. C'est la vie. But since it was a potential source of booting data, Aorus spent a long time attempting to raise the dead on each startup. Fast posts returned once the deceased drive was removed. No need to send flowers.

Fixed by a Win reinstall to UEFI. Old install was non-UEFI and I guess this was causing the problem. Still since F11 was working this proves there might be an issue with no-UEFI installs on F20 and F30.
