Hi Guys,
I am not sure what is going on here but the raid performance I am seeing with Gen4 nvme disks isn't what I had when I was using an X570 board with a Ryzen 9 processor!
I am getting single drive performance at best! on both the 2x raid, as well as 3 and 4 disk RAID-0
Have I not installed the right drivers or not set something up properly? HELP!
Boot disk - 2x Seagate 520 1TB as RAID-0 (slot one and two - CPU)
AIC card - 3x MP600 2TB and 1x Gigabyte - (yesterday one drive failed) so I am down to 3 drives - in slot PCIe1 (16 lanes) set to 4x4x4x4
so what have i done, I have RaidExpert setup in the bios, created two arrays, PCIe lanes setup as 4x4x4x4 for the PCIe x16
installed windows on the boot array
installed the AMD drivers for raid and chipset... but the performance is nothing like when I had it all installed on the MSI ACE X570, where with 4 disks I would get at least 13Gb/s and 7-8Gb/s with the two Seagates 520s
what are you speed are you getting?
thanks
Henrik
