I had to send this board in for RMA a couple of months ago and got it back and it worked ok. Except, it was taking a minute and 30 seconds to boot. The OS was on an older SSD. So, I stuck in an M.2 drive and used 'partition magic' to 'migrate the OS' to the M.2 drive. Did the operation, and shut the computer down for the night. Next morning I go to turn the computer on and it wont boot. It can't find an operating system. All I can do is get into the BIOS. I have removed every hard drive except the M.2 and still wont boot. So, I wiped the hard drive in command mode (using a windows install disk) and went to installing a fresh version of Windows 10. Did so with the USB drive I got with my windows home purchase. So it starts installing and then 'hangs' at 54% of file opening. Time, after time. I tried using a DvD ISO that I downloaded from microsoft and it hangs at 54% too. I tried to do this installing to every drive on this computer (even the 2TB 7200 RPM drive), and the same 54% hang happens. WTH? How about if I put the M.2 into another computer, and load windows 10 onto that, and then put the M.2 drive back into this gigabyte box. Do you think that that will work?
