This happens when I plug my monitor to the motherboard HDMI: the monitor doesn’t render properly, it flashes, extreme flickering and big pixelation.
I’ve updated the bios and the intel drivers, I’ve tried with 3 different monitors and 2 different cables but no luck.
I’ve also picked up a new motherboard, same exact model, to do a test and I got the same result.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Please state your entire system configuration including your monitor.

Some very wide screen monitors will have flickering issues with some games as the game hasn't been programmed for very wide screen monitors. You'll have to check that possibility with the gaming software manufacturer.

Reset the monitor back to it's defaults using the monitor's menu selection.

Try a lower refresh via the GPU or IGPU depending on what is being used. Then work your way up on refresh rate.

Did you test the memory like I had asked you to do? If you swapped the motherboard, and cables and drivers and bios then that leaves the monitor, cpu or ram. Did you test the monitor on another device?

Is all equipment is on the QVL? (except for the monitor and cooler)

Are you using a HDMI rated 1.4 cable without adapters.

Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool. Read the release notes.

BIOS update? F6b is the latest level post. Verify that level after W10 is booted. Reset the BIOS back to the defaults and save. Use the defaults while you are trying to debug the issue.

Memtest86.

Try testing without RGB connections and related software.

State the conditions when the monitor doesn’t render properly, flashes, has extreme flickering and experiences big pixelization.
