According to the Stasio thread...this one supports SAM, with another bios version in a couple of days...
EDIT: Good News: XMP settings are now working again and will accept manual timing overrides, just as they did before! Apparently my "funky" 4x8GB ram setup is not as funky as I thought and the 31g bios runs fine in XMP with my faster manual timings written in! F31 or F32 is probably right around the corner.

Wow this is awesome. im on a 5900x + X570 Master combo
im using a gskill DDR4-3200mhz (4x8gb kit) previously working okay with XMP settings using my Intel proc. but with this x570 master + 5900x it just refuses to boot at 3200 XMP setting. manually setting it to run 3000 works okay, im still using F31E bios from the Aorus site.
so this F31G bios did wonders for your setup? what is the XMP of your Rams btw?

Updated to the F31H bios just now. still wont accept XMP of my 4x8gb DDR4-3200 Gskill kit lowering mem multiplier to 30, setting it to DDR4-3000 speed pushes on without errors but still, this is the same as with the F31E bios.

What happens if you turn off XMP and just set the multiplier to 32? I ask because when XMP refused to work on these 31x bioses ironically 3733Mhz ran perfectly when XMP was turned off and the multiplier set for 37.33. You might wish to try that just to see if your ram will run correctly with the XMP multiplier and XMP turned off...sounds counterintuitive, but it worked for me.

Okay sir will try that. then just manually input Timings and RAM voltage right? do i need to add SOC, vddo and vddp voltages as well? im just aiming for DDR4-3200 C16 speeds

None of that--just turn off XMP in the bios, and set the multiplier for what you want, save, and reboot. Leave all the voltages alone. Worked for me every time--hope it helps.

I installed f31L last night and everything has been perfectly stable for me so far on my master. Memory worked with xmp enabled (4x8) and I tweaked the timings to 14-17-17 so I am pretty happy with it so far. Played some games last night without issue. Will try and run some benches today and see if anything changed.
My Signature... I do not work for gigabyte. My advice and opinions are my own.

does anyone have the bitspower or EK monoblock for this motherboard? Is it worth the money?

I moved that drive to another computer and copied over all data I wanted to keep and did a clean install.

desaccorde wrote: Jan 15, 2021 0:50:15 GMT -8 300 Series MUST be supported, no other way. MSI supports it. They may think they're pushing their customers for a premature upgrade, but guess what? Even if I upgrade, I wouldn't buy a Gigabyte board. Me and all my close friends will never buy Gig again.
johnyb0y wrote: Jan 14, 2021 4:58:11 GMT -8 @gigabyte, I've personally built with half a dozen of your boards and recommended you at least 5 times last year. This will stop if you screw Z390 users with not supporting Re-BAR.*
