Hello,
I ordered a GA-AB350-Gaming 3 motherboard that will be using a Ryzen 5 1400. Does the motherboard support this CPU by default? From what I've read, some people say that it should work and other say that the board fails to POST. I think it is related to the BIOS version (starting from F5 Ryzen 5 processors should work) Do you have any experience? Is there any way to check the default BIOS version without installing the CPU?

Mine posted and started booting windows with F5 that it came with, but windows wasn't happy with some crap left from my old asus board, so I flashed F6 right away and then reinstalled windows.

It probably would've been just fine on F5 though.

Do you have the manufacture date of you motherboard? I want to compare it with mine and have a better clue of the the version it will have.

Fixed by a Win reinstall to UEFI. Old install was non-UEFI and I guess this was causing the problem. Still since F11 was working this proves there might be an issue with no-UEFI installs on F20 and F30.
