Hello Folks,
since i swapped my 3700X with a 5950X the RGB Fusion Software won't detect my G.SKill Trident Z Neo RAM so i can't control it anymore, therefore it will stay on in standby all the time.
Board: Aorus Master X570
BIOS: F31e
I already installed a fresh Windows just to see if that helps, but no. Gigabyte, do something!

When did you upgrade to F31e? Was it the same time as the 5950x or did you BIOS flash and test that change fully before moving to the 5950x? And which build of RGB Fusion 2.0 are you using?
I have TONS of problems with my x570 Master Rev 1.1 on F31e and RGB fusion. RGB Fusion 2.0 build 20.1015.1 won't run at all for me (this is the newest one from Gigabyte's server). I downgraded to RGB Fusion 2.0 build 19.1030.1 and I can at least control my mobo RGB with it, but it has stability problems. It will crash and when the software crashes it takes down Windows with it.
I'm not going to put a lot of effort into digging into this until F31 moves out of BETA as I kind of expect problems with a BETA BIOS.

Thank God i found this thread. I was going crazy trying to fix this today with no luck.
I have the exact same issue. I updated my BIOS to F31e and then installed my 5950X and now i cant control my G.SKill Neo RAM with either RGB Fusion or the G.Skill RGB Software. I was almost going to install a fresh copy of Windows but i was to lazy today.

Same issue for me with F31E and 5800x, this software RGB fusion is absolute garbage, also the HDD spinning problem persists over an year now and the support say "they are working on it". Will never buy Gigabyte ever again, their attitude towards their software is total bull"xxx".
There is quite a large topic on the forum about it you can read it, but basically RGB fusion check for "RGB" hdd's quite often so it wakes sleeping hdd's which are not in use at the moment, and it is quite annoying when this happens every 5 min as mechanical drives spin quite loudly, not to mention its not very healthy for your hdd.

Now mine is not working again. I can't even connect to my motherboard :/
I did a format c: so any other program wouldn't mess with the detection, but after a hour on the fresh installed windows the RGBFusion is not detecting motherboard or RAM. I would say, that it worked just after install off RGBFusion on the fresh installed Windows 10 Pro. But after an hour, it stops

I haven't had any version of RGB fusion to recognize my G-Skill memory since the last Windows 10 fall update. It will recognize it one of 10 boots maybe. Contacted Gigabyte, no help! Some versions including the most resent one 3.20.1113.1 says it requires Microsoft C++ 2015 redistributable, try to install that version, but windows will not allow saying a newer version is already installed. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Tried uninstalling many versions with a clean install, no help! I think this is a Windows problem.

Maybe it is a Windows problem, but maybe gigabyte is using old software version for the program, and therefor its not working ;/ I can't figure out how to force RGBFusion to use the 2015 C++

This is not a windows problem. This is a gigabyte problem. They are releasing a software package that relies on an older redistributable. This is *yet again* another instance of their incompetence. It appears they are developing on older versions of Win10, not the current distribution.
To get the newest version of RGB Fusion installed, I had to uninstall all my C++ 2015 redistributable packages, disable windows updates, reboot, reinstall RGB Fusion let it fail to get the appropriate error message, find the old redistributable they use with that package, install that old distribution manually, then reinstall RGB fusion, this time it worked, reboot and everything is OK now.
