Hi,

it seems my board is doa, no matter what I try the motherboard won't start. No Led, no sound, nothing.

I tried with and without CPU, memory or GPU installed, with two different PSUs, both working when not plugged to this board (paperclip and fan test button) and still nothing, except for the clear cmos and q-flash plus buttons flashing at the back panel of the board.

I have already contacted Gigabyte support and waiting for their answer.

Thanks in advance for your advices.

Hello, i have the same problem right now with my Motherboard.

The problem in this case is the leakage sensor on the board. When you remove the upper cable of the cooling block of the MB and press CMOS and power at the same time, the computer should start.

But this wont solve the problem because without this cable you loose all the lightning of you motherboard.

Do you have received any feedback from Gigabyte about this ? Maybe a workaround ?

I have an h470 hd3 that I recently installed and I'm trying to update my bios from the f2 version. I'm only concerned as to which version to update to. I see that the latest bios update for this model has a warning that confuses me about whether its right.

Hey all, got a X370 Gaming 5 with Ryzen 7 1700. My RAM (4 x G.Skill Trident 3200 with Samsung chips) are only working at 1866 MHz. Cant activate XMP 2.0, because mobo resets the timings to standard, if i do.

Essentially a new build:

Two 1Tb M.2 NVMe SSD PCIe 4.0

Plan was to configure the two SSDs, in RAID 1, as the new “C” drive.
