Since we don't have anyone from Gigabyte working here anymore we wont be getting any true Beta bios before they are released from Gigabyte. I will however try and keep the information here fairly up to date and the links here will link to the download page for each board and if I find any true Betas I may link to those here but they will be in a separate category and listed as an unofficial bios. Also this will be a location to collect reports of issues with the existing and beta bios.

Anyone tried the F20a bios for the Z490 aorus master? Tried to install it through @bios and it would just get stuck in a loop at boot time. Reverted back to F8b but now USB Turbo Charger won't install for some reason... Kind of meh! Opened 2 tickets but my hopes are low. Anyone else?

Yeah, I fell for it: saw F20a show up on Gigabyte's d/l site and I upgraded my bios to it. I was disappointed that I could not keep my saved BIOS profiles from F8c to F20a, and I had to re-do all my bios settings. But after that, it ran fine on my VISION G and I ran several hours of OC testing on it.

Now I've discovered F20a was not meant for VISION G (they took it down), I have flashed back again to F8c, reconfigured everything again, and intend to re-do my OC testing.

I used a USB drive plugged into the "bios" USB port to flash each time.

Yes... I guess I got suckered too. I had just gotten the MB. Installed everything and then checked and saw this new BIOS. I updated and when it rebooted I had it had lost my Striped RAID. I could not find a way to fix it and had to create it again, which meant installing everything again. Well now I have more than just the OS installed, so I am not confident I can roll back to my PRO AC bios without losing everything again. The F20a is also now not listed on the PRO AX list. They just took it down without explanation.

I just got the Pro AX this week for my new build this week and installed the F20a BIOS as it was the latest available, so far it's working fine ... should I revert back to F7c?

If it is working without issue I would not rush to do it. I am not doing it simply because flashing the bios destroyed my striped raid and required a complete system reinstall. How long ago did you get the board and where did you get the bios. When I checked PRO AX the other day the F20a had been taken down.

They must have taken the BIOS down a day or two after I recieved mine. But yeah for me it's working fine without issue. I guess I will just leave it and see if they release a new one soon.

Looks like they reposted the BIOS but now it's F20b - going to try flashing to see what happens
