Matt , cant see the TB menu this time even if loading default values the TB menu is not any place has it change tab ? in peripherals there is no TB menu
also no NVME menu is not available like its showed in the user manual
having turbo boost 3.0 and intel speed shift tech does not set in windows any multiplier above 47 , even if the bios detects it it does not go above 47
TB3 menu should only show if you have a TB3 module plugged into the header.
NVMe isn't apart of Intel's BIOS spec on this chipset (I'm not sure why). We are looking into adding it.
Can you give me a list of all the settings you changed? I set Speed shift to both enabled & disabled with Turbo in Legacy mode and booted into windows at 48x.
Found the problem in the power plan in windows 10 on creators update you now have option to insert the Cpu aproximate speed (default is 0) if you set it to a value of 4.8 it gives a 4.7 , if and so on leaving it on 0 give no problems
Hi Matt, I have a gigabyte x299 gaming 7 with a 7820x and since updating to the newest beta bios f7i I have noticed that the temperature readings on my vcore are now all over the place even at stock. Core 7 reports peaks of 99c after about 20mins of running realbench and it doesn't matter if I'm at stock or overclocked it still happens. Before this bios revision the same core never went above 70c running the same test at stock and 91c with a 4.7 overclock. Also the cpu package temp is now lower then the core readings. I have gone back to f7h for now and it's no longer happening.
